It's really dumb. People are salty that it didn't turn out as they hoped and just wank in their minds about some Ward fantasy.

At the end of the day, Brook fought very well. His punch selection and movement were top quality. Unfortunately, GGG is just a monster. He beats everyone 160 down with ease and beats all but maybe Degale and Smith at SMW. The guy is a monster who deserves his props.

Uh, I'm talking about the end of the fight. GG wasn't landing everything. Brook made him miss a couple of hard shots. Both fighters are good fighters but you saw the effects of a punch between a WW and a MW. GG fought the fight that you need to fight. He said Brook couldn't;'t hurt him. I believe him.

This doesn't explain round 2 where Brook was getting off his punches first, with much faster speed.

I suspect GGG might try and move up if people keep ducking him.
There is like nobody at s-m now that Ward is gone.

He took one huge combo and wasn't really wobbled by it. The exchange where he didn't do any of that stuff barely lasted 30 seconds, and less than 10 clean punches landed. He never stopped trying to slip punches and stuff.

It might have been "clean he was beaten" right then, but GGG could have easily came out tired as fk in the next round. With 7 more to go, it was a terrible stoppage imo. Brook was still absolutely in that fight.

If Nate Diaz Vs Conor McGregor was a boxing match, Nate would have been stopped in round 1. British boxing is horrendous for that too. Froch Vs Groves 1 imo stole the greatest comeback of Froch's career because they gave it to him for nothing.

That's how you fight a little guy. Now you can appreciate how Sugar beat Hagler. Brooks big mistake was that he didn't go to GG's body. You can't head hunt a bigger man.

So what? ggg's team is clearly too concerned about how he looks, even after a win.

    Indeed.

Why can't some people just be truthful after their fights. They always have to talk absolute bollox, when we all saw what really happened. He was made to look average, ate some meaty uppercuts, and against a natural MW that has the same skills as Brook, he'd have been completely outboxed all night.

Good performance by Brook, but Golovkin didn't care to establish a rigorous gameplan to break down Kell.
He took big shots by Kell but it didn't effect Golovkin at all, so Golovkin didn't care for his power.

But Brook was still using good boxing skills, utilising the fact that Golovkin has no head movement - Golovkin isn't as elusive as his biggest fans claim he is. Brook was taking advantage of Golovkin's weaknesses at times.

The size difference was the real factor, Golovkin's punches were increasingly landing on Brook and they were doing some physical damage, hence Brook's eye problem.

I wanted to see Golovkin use the full array of his skills rather than see a poor performance like this where he fights for the KO.
I hope some people can stop saying Golovkin would beat Hagler, though.

If the eye was a problem where was the ringside doctor? But clearly Ingle was thinking about Kells future career, if Golovkin continued smashing Brook in that right eye, he might have never fought again. So you can't blame Ingle really. Either way very depressing that it had to end that way.

Which means you obviously aren't concerned with poor opposition, or how a fighter looks in the ring if it's someone you like.

kell is a natural 154 and has fought there several times he admitted he was killing him draining to 147 and said he is staying at 154. you live in an imaginary land where Ward still looks like he did in the super 6 with victor conte's steroids. Ward has not looked fast in either hand or feet in 4 years against very poor competition. there is a reason ward wanted 3 tuneups as well.
