As GGG keeps running out of options that fight will come up, especially if Ward loses to Kovalev.
It looks to me like a teeeeeeeeerrible match-up for GGG.

Kell is saying his vision was impaired and he thinks his eye socket is broken. He isn't complaining about the stoppage. That pretty much proves it was a good stoppage imo.

    I'll fight anyone between 164-168
    GGG

GGG is better suited for 168

I think Kell Brook does Canelo on points at 154 or 155; but whether or not he would get the nod on the scorecards against Canelo would be anyone's guess.

True but the difference here is that Brook's own corner pulled him out and that gives these kind of early stoppages a bit more legitimacy I feel.

I don't think you're giving Brook the due respect here. He'd beat any of your lot Thurman, Spence, Crawford and probably Canelo too. P4P he's similar level to Ward and lost tonight because of attrition/size/injury. Brook is a top p4p fighter today and will prove so moving forward.

You also have to give him credit for stepping up and daring to be great.

I agree Ward does beat GGG but I don't think it's cut and dry as he doesn't have the aggressive style like Brook.

If Brook is telling his corner that he has an eye problem and his corner sees him getting tanned, it's a good stoppage.

He lost rnd 2 trying to figure out Brook. Rnd 3 and 4 he came out aggressive and even ignored what his corner was wanting him to do. I think the thought of a lost, and to a WW moving up , was the motivation of getting a stoppage and made it look sloppy. He saw he can hurt Brook and just went for the KO. Brook absorbed the shots well for 4 rnds but the body shots and head shots caught up in rnd 5. He was also having issue with the right eye.

Way to deflect on me when I'm talking about ggg. The fight was overall a farce because Brook couldn't last, that's the risk in fighting a welterweight. You're an idiot also because I was talking ggg and his team being overly concerned about how they look. Only dksab like you think every fight has to be perfect.

People claiming Froch would win, GGG gets hit a lot. Do you understand that GGG wants his opponents to think that way. Honestly there is only one serious matchup for GGG and it is not at 160,168 but 172 and his name is Ward.

Hope this fight happens. This is going to be great fight. For haters, if it was Ward you would see completely prepared GGG with a different fight plan.

Brook is a good fighter a true quality operator but at 147 he has no business at 160. I agree he beats everyone at 147 the lone exception is spence which I think is a 50/50 fight.

This. Brook knew his eye was done for, and not just swollen but broken. So good stoppage from the team in order to ensure kell fights another day.

Andre Ward has a way of infiltrating every boxing conversation over 155 pounds in the last 3 years despite not doing anything of note during this time.
