No he wasn't. He was fine. He was taking the shots quite well and wasn't wobbled at all in that last round.
He wasn't kicking his butt, but he showed he belonged in the ring with him by being very competitive for 4 rounds. Shame about the eye injury he definitely had more in him but I think it would only be a matter of time before the power of Golovkin would assert itself. We've seen Golovkin grind out a win before against Ouma, he isn't going to get discouraged by being hit, he always keeps coming as we saw.
And as everyone knows Santy Clause comes down the chimney on Dec 25th. Also when you lose a tooth put in under your pillow and the tooth fairy will leave you some dough. Oh, and then later the Easter Bunny comes hopping down the trail on..well...Easter...and leaves golden eggs. Something about race that prevents some people from thinking clearly.
Look at my critical post history on GGG. I am white and think Hagler would beat him. Stop being racist and generalizing race it only makes you look like a fool.
Let him be He's only a pathetic racist that cant enjoy a sport because of his hate Triple G has a lot of Latino fans LOTS Triple G is ASIAN Lots of asians follow him
Race just shouldn't be in this forum it has no place. I am a fan of all colors of boxers from Barthelemy, Ward, Frampton, GGG, Shabransky, Chino, Froch, it goes on and on. I just like following the sport and watching any fight I get the opportunity to. I think Hagler would beat GGG. I guess I shouldn't though because I am white......
Also this fight did show more of what ggg's p4p status should be. I got the sense that Brook is a better fighter p4p, but size, strength, and power was the difference since it was a middleweight fighting a welterweight. Actually the fight went as I expected. Brook is a better boxer, just not a middleweight.
Brook was on the verge of greatness. The fight should not have been stopped. GGG was starting to tire and he wasn't hitting Brook with a lot of solid shots. All Brook needed was that second wind which I think he would have gotten in the next round or two and then I truly believe that he would have made a dominating come back because his skills were better today than GGG's. Plus he was hurting GGG. He claimed he wasn't bothered by Kell's power but he can tell that lie to somebody that can't see. Brook gets big props from me. 154 is another story.
Yes sir His legs were indeed wobbling , I've seen it on the replay . He wasn't even throwing punches back and was covering up . His body language indicated he was getting overwhelmed . You can see it . The fact is the hate for Golovkin is INCREDIBLE. The man staggered his opponent in the opening rnd, broke his eye socket , landed the more powerful blows . Brooks own corner acknowledged he is getting punished and stops the fight in the 5th . And yet people are going crazy screaming to the top of their lungs OMGG. GOLOVKIN WAS EXPOSED. DID YOU SEE THATTTTT !?!?!?!?!? OMGG !!!! No just no... I've been witnessing boxing for many many years . That was no exposure people . Congratulations to both Golovkin and Brook . Especially to Triple G for the TKO victory.
