Brook is a twat. Said he expected GGG to punch harder then goes on to say he reckons he broke his eye socket lol. EDIT: Taking nothing away from Brook by the way. He jumped up two weight classes to take on one of the best fighters in the world. He was just outclassed tonight.
Kell told his trainer to pull him out. Check the signals kell was giving his corner. As soon as GGG connected and Kell felt the power he didn't want none of it. Lucky he was pulled out because he would have been put to sleep in that 5th round.
This is my problem with modern boxing. I don't think it's "lucky" to get beat by corner stoppage over KOed. One way, you have a punchers chance. The other, you have zero chance. Let him have his moment of glory. Cannae remember who it was but that HW who won by KO with only one arm the other year while Jim Watt was going mental that it was allowed to continue...that HW made a decision and he'd never regret it.
Could see he wasn't happy with his eye in the 2nd or 3rd round. Did very well anyway, don't believe Golovkin when he said he wasn't hurt. Shame it didn't go longer, as Golovkin wasted a lot of energy with some quite a few big shots he missed, would of been good to see how his energy levels were later on as no fighter can throw powershots all the time and not tire badly in the later rounds. He's great at not showing any weakness though, in the ring and in post match interviews, as well as being a great fighter. I love how he just walks at people, but he does have weaknesses which people thought he didn't. Was a great fight whilst it lasted anyway.
Not really. Brook wasn't firing back anything. He may have been able to last the round out but you (by you I mean you as the trainer) can't let your fighter go out again and stay on the ropes to have more of your face broken in. He was saving Brook from himself. Saying that, I personally think Brook gave a good account of himself.
Hey give the slug some props lol. Yeah too many morons on this forum, thats to do with the general coming in here.
I don't feel threatened. I feel like you didn't watch the fight. Either that or you are ******ed mentally. In which case I apologise because you probably can't help all of your posts being total rubbish.
So I take it I'm the only one that thought, barring that injury brook was more than matching golovkin then? I gotta be honest, it's about time other middleweights grew a pair and actually went at golovkin. Because in my opinion, a welterweight just made him look human for once.
