How old are you and how long have you been watching boxing?

Most of these guys are lying. I'm 39 and I've been watching boxing since I was 5. Remember the 84 olympics when I was 7. Was 19 during the 96 olympics and I know why you made this thread. And what I have to say about that is GGG is doing nothing I haven't seen from Julian Jackson or Gerald Mcclellan. Both of whom would have knocked him completely out

 

Jackson was too chinny to beat Triple G imo

 

Though Jackson was chinny, that has nothing to do with GGG taking his shots :lol. We're talking about a man that had the bodysnatcher seriously hurt and even Roy Jones many years later in 97 couldn't hurt him in his 40s and washed up. If he lands flush more than once, GGG is snoring. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Jackson hits harder than Kell brook and Willie Monroe, but that's just my opinion.

I'll be 30 in Nov. Been watching boxing for as long as I can remember with my Dad and older brother, but I didn't get hardcore into the sport til I was in middle school, around 12-13. That's when I started watching every boxing event on tv, buying old fight tapes, watching espn classic fights with Ali, SRR, Duran, etc and started researching fighters on the internet and getting on these boxing forums

I think it would've been a war but I usually lean towards the guy with a better beard in a battle of punchers. I think Triple G was a more skilled fighter than Jackson too, but The Hawk had better 1 shot power.

 

Jackson chin wasn't that bad actually, he was stopped on his feet against both McCallum and McClellan, he was past his prime in the rest of his losses, his biggest flaw was when a fighter with a good chin put pressure on him and Golovkin is awesome at that, McCallum said that he was afraid of putting pressure on Jackson, but in some point he hit Jackson and Jackson didn't hit back, so he knew he needed to put pressure on him, the thing is that McCallum skills are better than GGG, but i like your argument for GGG.

 

Hagler v Hearns wasn't on free tv in the U.S. It was on closed circuit.

 

I'm 92 years old, been watching boxing since February 2016. How I've missed 91years of my life without it. I hope I'm still around too see Kovalev vs ward, and klitchko vs fury 2.
