go and watch golovkin-lemieux, if golovkin respects his opponents power he will box him at distance with the jab and avoid being hit, he showed he could do that against lemieux. he wasn't bothered by brook's punches, he walked through them and got brook out of there in 5 rounds. just another ko victim...

I thought GGG would destroy Brook much worse. I had it 2-2 before the surrender. I can't decide if I underrated Brook or overrated GGG. It would be interesting to see Brook get a few more middleweight fights under his belt then a rematch. Brook made it exciting.

It sounds like the fix was in. Ahead at the time of the stoppage? All Brooke had to do was to finish on his feet for the win. No wonder GGG picked up the pace and went for the kill in the 5th round.

In retrospect, did he actually win that round? Isn't that the round his eye socket was smashed?

He did very well and could have done waay better if they had a better gameplan.

He should've been more on the move and turn GGG. Kell has a granite chin and he could've pulled it off with better footwork and staying close to GGG.

Why do you find it difficult to believe that a trainer/corner stopped a fight in which their boxer had a broken eye socket and was being pounded with unanswered punches against the ropes?

A corner has a duty to protect their man, not to entertain you by allowing their boxer to sustain serious and potentially life changing damage.
