I really like everything about GGG but in between those flashes of brutal destruction I see a slow fighter who is very easy to hit. Against Brook last night it wasn't a worry but I do wonder how he would have gone on if he'd faced the likes of Hagler, McLellan, Jackson, Benn etc..... he has a great chin no doubt but I would have loved to have seen how he would cope taking shots off the likes of these.

I like GGG but I would bet on the four dudes you mentioned if they met prime for prime.

I don't know I really don't, the man has real strength and that power that can be felt with every shot he lands even the little ones. Wasn't it a jab that broke Brook's eye socket? It's really hard to guage how good GGG because he hasn't been pushed to the limits....

    Hagler beats him.

Those other three, at 160 pounds. I'm not sure they could beat Golovkin.

Nigel Benn was stopped by Watson and Eubank, and almost KO'd by Anthony Logan, and wobbled by a few others. He wasn't exactly hard to hit himself.

Having said that, I thought McClellan would smash Benn too.

I don't know if Benn being a fully adjusted Super Middleweight helped him out, I doubt Gerald was firing on all cylinders for that fight anyway.

Him and Hagler is the fight I'd like to see most, it would have been a war. What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.....

    Marvin Hagler:

I think Hagler beats GGG fairly comfortably, Golovkin may have his moments here or there but he's way too easy to hit and Hagler's chin is pretty much undentable, no way Golovking stops him. Hagler wins an 9-3/8-4 sort of decision.

    Nigel Benn

This would be a brutal fight with both landing hurtful shots but GGG seems to have the better chin which would be the difference. Golovkin stops Been within 7.

    Julian Jackson

Golvkin KO's him at some point without a doubt IMO.

    Gerald McCLellan

While GGG seems to have a good chin he hasn't fought anyone NEARLY with the power of G Man and as has been said he's not the hardest of people to hit which may spell disaster here. I think it depends if Golovkin can weather the early storm, if not McCLellan early KO/TKO, if he can it maybe similar to the Benn/McCLellan fight.

Wonder how Hearns would fair against GGG? If Hearns boxes smart and every now and then puts in some hard right hands on a open GGG?

Come on with the knee jerk reactions. Guy is 34 already never lost never been down. Has been decimating the opposition. Now he has like what two competitive rounds he may have lost against a very skilled fighter who was rated on several p4p lists and now here comes everyone with these matches Triple G would lose to. He crushed Brook's orbital bone, had him bleeding from nose and running for his life by Round 5! And that's his worst performance in ages.
He smokes Benn and Jackson. And McLennan.
None of those guys move like Brook and Triple G played the bully role knowing Brook couldn't hurt him. He would cover up against those guys just like he did when he dominated a hard puncher in Lemieux. Catch and shoot

You can say his hands aren't fast but MY GOD he's got amazing feet.

After this fight vs a who's one of the quickest at 147 I can say without a single doubt he's P4P the best EVER at cutting off the ring

Great point. Triple G fought a fast welterweight and cut the ring off like a master. Just re-watch the 4th round and then of course the 5th.

I don't think he took a wrong step the whole fight. It was perfection.
