They were surprised but had noted that Brook had been pawing at his eye since round two. Malignaggi (yes, Pauli was there) definitely said something was wrong with his eye, and guessed that was why the trainers stopped the fight.

Personally, because of the timing of the stoppage...right after GGG had snapped Brook's head back a few times....I think the corner saw that Brook was being hurt badly and decided to end the fight, but that's just speculation on my part.

Ok so they were surprised? Got it. I knew and everybody knew something was wrong with brook eye which he clearly was bother. If brook was very bother and doesn't think he can continue? Then brook should've stop the fight himself if that's the case.

Yup ignore the examples of mayweather, pac, holyfield and other past fighters badly injuries but didn't get stopped by their own trainers if their fighters in the ring wasn't close of being stopped smh. You show once again you're an idiot and you not a true boxing fan.

    Like i said earlier...

The hate for Golovkin is INCREDIBLE.

People are acting as if Brook went out there and completely shutdown Triple G and straight up slaughtered him for 5 rnds straight.

Thats really how people are reacting right now .

Im asking myself right now did i see the same fight that everyone esle did??

The level of exaggeration is off the charts and is getting ridiculous by now.

People are questioning GGG power now when Brook was quickly wobbly in the very first rnd..

    We all saw it.

The fifth rnd as well when he was against the ropes showing GGG his pokerface by taunting him. His legs were wobbling once again. They were not steady.

He could not hide it. He was a beaten fighter who was wounded and hurt.

Brook was hospitalized after suffering a broken orbital bone due to Golovkins punch but that doesnt matter because Golovkins power is still somehow exposed and now overrated.

The exaggeration needs to stop now.

I call it like i see it.

Right now all i see is a bunch of butthurt fans making up their own reality of what took place because they did not get what they want.

The whiteboy did not lose. Deal with with it.

Letting Golovkin hit your fighter in his fractured eye socket is stupid. Waiting until even more serious damage is done is stupid. You and others are stupid I mean seriously.

You assume that if Brook was a natural MW he would be able to hurt GGG and take GGG's shots. That is not necessarily true. He would do better, but winning is not a guarantee at all. He could still even get beat down.

    Agree

    Absolutely.

Kell Brooks is the superior boxer.

Gennady Golovkin is the superior fighter.

    Disagree.

    Triple G was not schooled.

    Outclassed at times.

    But it was no schooling.

Far too tough for a guy 2 divisions below him, wow give the man a round of applause! Let's see GGG fight someone at Brooks level the same size as him...it won't end well.

Brook did better than a lot of people thought he would but GGG didn't seem to be at 100%.I think brook was.shocked by how hard g was hitting .if.the fight had continued brook would have been destroyed ggg was starting to take him apart.

Golovkin looked like crap. I say that and I am a Golovkin fan. He is either getting old, complacent or both. He was completely relying on his power and made little attempt to box, move his head or even set up his shots. In the end it worked but it didn't look pretty and it was not a smart way to fight.

You're ******ed I mean seriously you are. I didn't say let ggg hit brook bad eye smh. Like I said if brook feels he couldn't continue, should he have stop the fight himself? I bet my money if you were in that arena paying your hard earn money and that kind of stoppage happen? You be sooo pissed off you would want your money back.
