    Duran ruined Davey Moore with a "thumb to the eye". Best Brook fights another day. He can rematch GGG at a later day after Brook takes the JrMW title.

    In the heat of the moment I thought it was a bad stoppage, but after assessing the situation further Im ok with it. Brooks corner knows him best, and you see him beginning to break down. No need to take an unnnecessary beating in a fight he wasn't going to win, He landed some good shots but it was clear he couldnt hurt GGG

    Katsidis-Earl but this was a far different scenario Brook couldn't of withstood much more punishment let alone come back and won.

    Nope, no joking about it. Try telling the fans at the O2 arena, who paid upwards of £300 for their seats, to be conned out of the main event. I have been to boxing shows in the past, were a stoppage like this would have caused a riot. It is clear to me and thousands of others, that Brook and his corner, planned to get out when the pressure was applied. It was daylight robbery, for the paying customer.

    It was bruised and swollen the very next day. I saw an interview with him. He was also lisping (seething) presumably because of the pain.

    Frankel once again proving he is one of the most asinine posters on this board. Seriously it seems like every post is pure drivel.

    The corner knew he was injured with the eye being an issue, maybe even knew he was seeing 4 Golovkin's, quadruple G you could say, so stopping the fight was an act of mercy and compassion, god forbid we see that and a corner look to protect their fighter from harm.
