Would a win against Jessie Vargas alter your list in any way shape or form?

say a win vs Jessie> retire

Not even remotely close to 5th. More like 30-40. ZERO wins or ZERO fights vs another ATG in their prime.

No he just simply doesn't have the wins (hell even fights) over guys in their prime.

He needed to fight Mosley and DLH when they were on top.

    Pacquiao is around 12-15.

But top 5 you have guys like Robinson, Armstrong, Ali, Duran, Etc. I just don't see how Floyd is in that mix.

Very difficult question. I don't know. Even, I can't decide about top 5 pfp since 2000.
In any case, he was a grandmaster of boxing.

Robinson, Leonard, Ali, Duran, and Armstrong are all definitely above him, so it's just not possible for him to be top 5.

He has to be top 15. He's an 8 divison world champ. Destroyed and I mean completely annihilated Barrera, Morales and Cotto.

Also Decisioned Marquez. Put Hatton in the grave.

Dudes top 15 easily. Look at the man's resume against ATG fighters.

not top 5, I don't know where he ranks but he was the best of his generation. But to be top 5 he would have had to have taken a few more challenges in his career IMO.
