I'll give you Hatton, Canelo, Cotto (little shop worn though), Castillo. But Mosley, Hernandez and DLH had definitely seen better days.

Floyd also lost to Marcos Maidana but once again Vegas officials made sure he got the decision
He should have been DQ'd against both Ortiz & Judah.
How is Floyd a drug cheat ?? to need 750 ml of saline, administered ILLEGALLY, for dehydration he would have been in ICU on May 2 2015 NOT in a a boxing ring running foe 12 rounds
Throw those rose colored glasses away HE CHEATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Mosley was considered lineal after he destroyed Margarito, and Oscar was still preforming at a high level and was better than Karmazin, Spinks, and simms, And an unknown Euro who was the WBO champ.

Floyd Maidana I was close but Floyd won
If he went to ICU, he would have made weight again next time and dominate pacquiao with ease. it would have been another date where floyd would have got his 48-0

You're probably just mad he defeated your favourite fighters. I bet you can't name many who are better than him besides Ali and SRR

I am pretty sure if you are knowledgable in boxing you could sit yourself down and come up with your own ATG list. Start Floyd at 1 and everytime you come up with a greater ATG boxer bump him down. Do it for a week while researching the sport and you may be surprised how far down he has gone. If at the end of the week you still have him in the top 5 YDKSAB.

I don't have a favourite fighter. You obviously do though.

Thats not really a challenge ffs. The 3 greatest fighters of all time are generally known to be Ray Robinson, Harry Greb and Henry Armstrong. Then you have guys like Willie Pep, Ali, Benny Leonard, Roberto Duran, Ray Leonard, Joe Gans, Sam Langford, Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, JCC, Bob Fitzsimmons, Jimmy Wilde etc.

He's a great, great fighter. The problem with boxing is it's such an old sport and the early days had guys fighting 200 to 300 professional bouts. So it's the only sport I can think of where the modern day athlete has barely any chance to crak the top 5-10 of all time.

I look at basketball and Lebron James is cementing himself an incredible legacy. I look at tennis and Federer has probably usurped all the great tennis players of yesteryear (i.e. Bjorn, Sampras,) even soccer has the great Messi and ROnaldo.

I think his career is as good as it can be for a modern day boxer and I definitely think he's a top 20 fighter ever P4P. But some of those old guys like Harry Greb, Henry Armstrong, Samuel Langford, WIllie Pep and the amazing Sugar Ray RObinson just have way too many fights/wins under their belts.

I hear people make the argument that Mayweather fought and beat more champions than pretty much anyone in history, but titles these days are a dime a dozen compared to the old days when there was pretty much just one champion in each division, especially going back several decades ago to the original 8 weight classes (no super/junior divisions.) That's what makes the reigns of guys like Homicidal Hank and Ray RObinson even that more impressive.

Unfortunately there's not much footage of the great Harry Greb but if you look at his overall resume, it's even more legendary than the men I mentioned previously. The fact he was able to accrue as many wins against top notch guys when he was blind in one eye for nearly half his career just adds to his legend.

Now as far as skillsets goes- offense/defense/ring generalship? I think Mayweather has a strong case for being inside the top 10. But as far as P4P ranking when factoring in his resume, I think somewhere between 14-18 sounds about right. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that either. His longevity has really helped him pull away from some of the other contemporary ATG fighters.

All debatable! Unfortunately for you, your opinion did not mean squat when it came to whether FM beat those guys or not! The opinions that did matter said he won! Deal with it! As far as the cheating goes, again the opinions of the people that really matter said FM did nothing wrong, so that's how it is for now! Deal with it! FM 2-0, there will be blood 0-2, deal with it! LOL

No. Unlike the real greats he didn't fight the best at their best and certainly not all comers.
Had everything in his favor after his comeback, making sure there wasn't a level playingfield. (the well known a-side thing)
And whatever angle you believe, he either was a huge weightcutter or caught masking.

He definitely is one of the greats, no doubt about it, but there also are too many things the disqualify him from ever being seen as top10.
