It was a clean knockdown. As legit as it gets.

What were the numbers in scorecards? It was reported the judges had brook up. Give us the scores.

One had him a round up and the other two had it even, so technically an MD.

    There were 4 completed rounds.
For what you say to be correct that would have to mean 2-2, 2-2 in rounds for the two judges who had it even, or 38-38 on points. Such a score is mathematically possible, but ludicrous.

But how explain the scorecard by the judge who had Kell one up after 4 ?
2-1-1 to Kell? Two to Kell, one golovkin and one even? Crazy scoring.

And what about the ref? What about the perfectly legit knockdown he ignored?

I'm not defending the scores; I disagree with them completely. But I'm just making the point that *technically* Brook wasn't ahead after 4

Fight is here. Watching it again and i think Brook definitely wins the first. Golovkin landed a good body punch towards the start of the round but Kell landed the cleaner punches throughout.

You could make an argument for that after watching again

GGG outlanded him 30-19 and caused damage, afraid I have to disagree with you there

I actually think Brook nearly going in the first was partly why GGG became so reckless for the next round or so

Anyone who had it 3-1 to brook, ill tell you now they were listening to and been swayed by the sky commentry team, thats it!
Only a brook bias can come up with that score.

He may nevet recover from it mate certainly not in the length of time he has left with his career. I broke mine when i was 16 and for years after the slightest touch in that area and i was in pain. Its only thin bone if its below the centre of the eye.
