Antonio Tarver schooled Danny Green. Green was really trying to land his big straight right but Tarver expertly landed that jab gauging distance as as the fight wore on the combinations become longer and harder until a great finish. Tarver was just on the outside of Green's range, stalking and busy with punches slowly drowning Green in the mid rounds. Green never stopped trying and Tarver was very focused for that bout.

Nonito Donaire vs Darchinyan 1 was a picture perfect fight. Darchinyan was so feared back then, no-one thought anyone could stand and bang with him. Vic was 28-0 with 21 crushing KOs. Nonito was so focused and ****ed about his brother's jaw getting previously broken by Vic. Glen Donaire took a total whooping in that fight. You could see Nonito's concentration, he knew that one slip up would be the end of the bout. Nonito painted a freaking masterpiece, he outboxed and actually outfought Vic. Slowly the fight unravels with Nonito's left hook landing but he finds that timing and is throwing real bombs. Both guys trying to KO the other. Great fight and a finish from Donaire who had to use all his skills. This fight was the true definition of boxer-"puncher". Movement for the purpose of efficient hurtful, jarring punches that can take the other guy out.

Some things don't change. Sanchez-Gomez is still the first fight I think of when I think of a surgical dismantling on the highest level, and Locche-Fuji still ranks highly.

Cervantes-Locche I is still high on my wish list of fights I hope see the light of day at some point.

Interesting choice. I didn't think he looked good at all for the first half of that fight.

Well, Hatton paid for his mistakes, he went too aggressive and was picked apart by Mayweater, his power is somehow underrated, but you can see that most of his opponents turn shy after some rounds, Hatton didn't and ended knocked out.
