Who cares what that mexican coward is doing, hes taken floyds advice and avoided GGG until either GGG hits a speedbump or whatever and then he will demand a fight, classic floyd tactics. On top of that hes still the Ring middle champ!! Stupid, its this sort of thing thats bad for boxing, let the real fighters fight and let quackello Duck

It's a good decision, but these guys need to face another to give it some strength. As of now, it has potential, but that's it.

You clowns have been saying he can't make 154 but he makes 155?

Canelo ain't moving up until 2018 at the earliest. If he makes the weight he doesn't ever have to though admit that to the world.

GGG looked terrible at the Brook weigh in himself and he fought at 165 when he was 20 years old, it's getting tough for him to make 160 as well better move up before CEJ wrecks him. Actually that won't work CEJ will just go up as well and beat him at 168

There is no such thing as a +1 division... if you can't make 154 then you are by definition a MW just like GGG was 159 for his last fight that doesn't make him in a new division.

He didn't just turn up and fight at 155 it was in the contract that they had to weigh less.
Most prospects fight the whole beginning of their careers a few pounds over the limit until a belt is on the line. I don't see a difference here

That's right. El Payaso Rojo can stay at 154, fight has beens and never weres, and avoid
attaining Legend status by fighting GGG. Even by losing a great fight to GGG he'd get
props. But he won't get props by staying at 154.

Which he has the right to do. Like Colin K has the right to kneel at the National Anthem. Which
    makes both of them Payasos.

That's MW. Answer this is you can, why even fight at 155 for a few years?

Please read again, I was quoting the previous post who stated Canelo had previously fought at 160 lbs, never did I mentioned it was MW. It's OK to dislike Canelo, I think he's been over protected but I try to stay impartial. I don't let it blind me.

Why would he even do 155? Can you give a realistic answer as to the choice to fight at 155? That's his last 5 fights that have been above 154.

160 is synonymous with saying Middleweight. Whether Alvarez fought at 160, he fought at MW. Cut the "Act impartial" line when you are downplaying the weight to your convenience.

I don't care who livews, loves, or dislikes Alvatrez on this board. I have no hatred or even a disliking for the young guy. He's been one of my favorites since he was still a teen.
