I didn't think Jacobs had a chance vs Quillen. Boy was I wrong. That fight proved that Jacobs is a threat to any 160. GGG has never destroyed a top level 160 pounder in 1 round. His best 1 round KO was Lajuan Simon.

Jacobs is a threat for every 160 fighter. Of course his chin is a big liability and that's why GGG will be favored to win. But he can hurt Golovkin at any moment. Jacobs will have the height and reach advantage, weight advantage, youth advantage. He's faster more athletic. GGG has better footwork and timing, balance, accuracy.

Should be a nail biter of a fight!

worthy contender, good puncher, decent boxer.

but he'll be labelled a complete bum once ggg deals with him.

Jacob's is the amir khan of middleweight division. Has good skills as a boxer but has a weak chin.

I rewatched Jacobs-Pirog a few minutes ago. What a pity ! Pirog had a great potential.
Jacobs has a height, reach and power (for MW, of course), but his chin is questionable.
Or Pirog was so powerful ?

Yep! He has a good chance...wouldn't write him off! But to be honest...we're yet to see how good Golovkin really is until we see him against a Jacobs, Saunders, Eubank etc.

When Pirog's back wasn't ****ed up, he had power. He also walked Jacob's into the perfect shot. Jacob's was the last fight he had where his back was semiserviceable though. It troubled him every fight after.

Jacobs is a good fighter who deserves a shot at GGG 's title .He may even be quite competitive within the first 2-3 rounds.Nontheless,GGG will finally make him taste the ring dust.
'A pity that Pirog who wiped the floor with Jacobs and looked like a real threat to GGG then retired for good due to a back injury.
A healthy Pirog would certainly be worthy of GGG's steel!

3G can't drop the belt to Jacobs or he'd never get it back. then again Saunders may change his mind after Jacobs gets pummeled.
