The guy clearly ducked Errol Spence, he was fighting every mandatory and their momma when they were bums but the moment a tough one comes in he suddenly talks about moving up to 154. Don't get me wrong I know Golovkin is a way harder task but he was well compensated plus it was a win-win fight if he loses but does well he inherits new fans and if he wins then hes a superstar. I'm just not sure why people have taken him to task about, what he did is no different to what Khan did with him tbh.
Because we all can see that kell going down back down to 147 is madness. Just go and look at pictures of kell at weigh in when fighting at 147. Before he kept hold of the belt as he was hoping to make a big fight. Never happened and now he has just fought a big fight at 160. He now also has HBO interested in having him in big fights at 154. Surely you can see yourself that kell boiling back down to 147 wouldn't be wise.
Kell v Canelo at 154 is a way bigger fight. Plus there's Cotto, Bradley, Marquez, Lara, Andrade, Charlo
brook fighting gennady golovkin at 160 is a much much tougher fight then him fighting errol at 147 that would be 60-40 for brook. Brook went up 2 wieght classes and fought the best fighter at that division he can fight 10 rod salkas from now on i dont mind
I'll go out on a limb here and say I doubt Spence is all that well known in the UK, so I doubt Kell is all that concerned with him. That being said, Porter would maul Spence and if he somehow managed to get past Shawn, he would be thoroughly Lacy'd by The Special One, Spence is not even close to being on his level.

your correct, im from the UK and trust me very little people know him.It would be a very small fight over here, it'd just be a typical brook on normal sky kinda of fight. Good matchup but a small payday + who knows if he can even get to 147 anymore, im sure he doesnt even know himself
I clearly said that Brook took a bigger fight and much bigger payday but let's be honest he said he was gunna move to 154 before the golovkin deal came about this was after he had fought mandatory after mandatory. I actually pick Brook to win if that fight came coz he's more proven I think it's a close fight though and I think Brook knows that. Yes I understand it was a business move but it's still a duck, were boxing fans were not his accountant or manager, we should just wanna see the best fights. Fights like Golovkin brooks are mismatches I put £2,000 on golovkin by ko because I was confident that there was no way brook makes it to 12. Same with Canelo-Khan, I just think Spence v Brook is a competitive match up and I'd pick that over a mismatch with ggg.
If anyone is not interested in competitive match ups maybe you guys should try yours hand at being a boxing promoter. I'm a fan I wanna see the best fights possible, all the other stuff about purses and A-side b-side is not my concern it's the concern of the fighters team.
