    Beterbiev should get back in the ring again soon. They were talking to Sullivan Barrera a month ago but I have heard nothing since.

    With HBO reducing it's boxing budget, they may not have enough money for that fight. Does anybody know how many fights Ward or Kovalev are contracted for after they fight? They might go to a purse bid and land on Showtime or PBC.

    No, that's not how things work in the IBF. Mandatory challengers are appointed by elimination fights in the IBF. Sitting on a #1 ranking doesn't get you a title shot in that organization.

    But since he will be number #1 after the fight in November, he will be the one in an elimination bout against another fighter ranked in the IBF right? I see him beating pretty much everybody in the IBF top 15.

    I don't know about 3 in a row but Ali fought Foreman, Liston, and Shavers who are commonly known as the 3 hardest hitting fighters of all time.

    I'd like to see Beterbiev vs Kovalev. That would be a war. I have a feeling Ward vs Beterbiev would be a boring one sided fight for Ward.
