People are going to slap themselves after they see how easily Canelo dispatches of Liam. This fight is on par with Joshua vs Martin. All the signs are there people just ignore them.
I think he's a better combination puncher than Canelo and places his punches better and has better defense. I also think he's going to attack Canelo's body like nobody before him has and that will make Canelo's stamina even worse. You should watch some tape of him; I think you'd be impressed with how he fights. He's also not small. He's a big kid and has big legs. He's taller than Canelo and has a good jab and closes distance well Canelo didn't look good vs. Floyd, he had a hard time getting Angulo out of there even though he was hitting him with everything he had, he looked really pedestrian vs. Lara, I thought he gout outboxed by Cotto, and he was getting slapped around by Khan until the KO happened. A lot of what Canelo has "achieved" has been smoke and mirrors as far as I'm concerned.
You don't have to take it serious. If you think Canelo is head and shoulders better than Liam then you obviously haven't been paying that close to Canelo's career.
And he's never faced someone as big as Liam with the kind of combination punching and punch selection that Smith has. Smith is actually the bigger guy in this fight.
