Fair enough and I did say I don't like the mismatch, I never trashed brook never called him a bum or a ***** or anything derogatory. All I was saying is taking the fight you know you can't win for big money over a fight you have a chance in winning for less money is not what I wanna see as a BOXING FAN. That's all.
GGG has been lining big fights up for a long time, I hope he can deliver! Canelo isn't even a real middleweight and he has never fought at 160 in his life. Why don't GGG have to move up? Canelo has far more options at 154 than GGG has at 160
It's as good as done like I said Brook won't make it back till at least February next year and they have already said they will most likely be campaigning at 154. Not to mention there is not champion listed for IBF welter weight it is vacant.
He had a middleweight title does that not matter? Why should GGG have to move up, he is fighting in his appropriate weight class. Canelo will take any dangerous fights at 147, you think he will fight the likes of Lara, Andrade, Charlo or Williams I highly doubt it.
It's Canelo's fault. Soon as the 155 bs started he should have known. Plus then winning the MW belt and then giving that little post-Khan speech...he's brought it all onto himself really
Idiotic though, just because YOU think somebody loses does not mean they do. Brook, like any fighter, went into a tough matchup believing they could win... it didn't work out... but then for that risk you get rewarded. He wouldn't do it for peanuts would he, he'd do what you want and take a risky mando that hes favoured in but for small money... EVERYONE in life wants more money... You need to get over it, why did garcia choose molina over berto? Probably because his team see it as an easier fight and will probably get a bigger payday.. its just sports and pretty much every boxer does this. If you offered spence 5 million to face golovkin and he fancied he'd be okay at 160 no doubt about it he would take it over facing brook for small money....
I don't think real boxing fans enjoy fights that you know the outcome before the guys step into the ring! Personally, I think it was a very smart move for Brook. He acquitted himself very well for the most part and I think he believed he could win. He made a good pay day out of it and could pick up another big fight with Canelo if he has a good showing at 154. Hope he has a full recovery and comes back strong and raging soon!
My point as the fan I don't care about the money why do you, are you his financial manager or something?
Tough fight for Spence I would pick Spence because he's the much cleaner puncher but it's a tough fight for both men.
I do not believe Brook thought he could win, he never seemed confident whenever I saw him speak on the fight. I think he saw a big opportunity to make a lot money and display his skills to the world and said **** it I'll bite the bullet for that reward. Agree with everything else you mentioned however,
Sorry, I meant do you think Canelo stops GGG before he 6th round and break his bone on the way to the stoppage?
