    so canelo could not stop a shot 41 mosley and rhodes and went the distance with matthew hatton but he would stop spence?

    Rhodes was stopped in the 12th, and yes because Spence has a terrible chin, its pure glass.

    I think this 154 fight is a one off and Alvarez returns to Caneloweight. He won't give up his Ring belt that easily.

    Canelo is getting deservedly ripped to shreds on media etc, he is a coward, chicken, yellow, ducker and all that. But he is still a class Boxer and some people are forgetting that. I like Spence, he is very very good and dangerous but so is Canelo and he would be so much bigger than Spence. If this happened my money would be on the Mexican.

    It's just odd how him and his team handled it. They should of just used honesty and said look we fought cotto for his name not his middleweight titles, canelo isnt a middleweight and we're staying at 154... nobody could question this really. Calling him in the ring, sayin we will fight him bla bla bla we'l call tom tomorrow etc... then dropping your title a week later. It was madness from canelo and his team.

    Totally agree. We all know GGG is a monster and if they had just stepped back from the start and like you say be honest they wouldnt of led themselves down this path and would still be making mega bucks but without the mass of ridicule. But they have kept up this pretense and now they are starting to trip up over their own previous statements.

    But then my gut feeling is Oscar isnt just looking to steer Alverez away from GGG, its all top class Middleweights and so far certain 154 fighters too. He has gone for what looks like the weakest pick of champs in this division now.

    Yeah they'v picked what they think is the weakest champ and while I think theyv underestimated liam a little bit, his style is what canelo enjoys fighting. I think canelo will win on points, maybe 8-4 or something. Be interesting to see what canelos next move is, does he go to 160. Does he stay at 154 and take the brook fight thats being mentioned.. I think they'l take the brook fight and continue to say he isnt moving up yet
