Oscar looked pissed that Max asked tough questions.

Canelo is peaking learning to pace himself and using is power real wise, his body attack is incredible not too many people could take those shots.

Smith gave a good account, he's just a domestic level fighter. That's the bottom line.

I think ESB doesn't like to give credit to Canelo about how much he's improved... the Floyd fight really was a turning point.. he needed that fight to understand how to be a complete fighter.

He was a complete fighter tonight.

Well to be fair, he never had a chance even before the bell rung.

I doubt he'd outweigh Jacobs. Jacobs is making a hell of a weight cut to get down to 160. He's almost three inches taller than Canelo. Still, I'd like to know what Canelo weighed in the ring tonight if anybody knows.

Not one credible boxing analyst gave Smith a chance, hell I don't think anyone has this fight making it to the score card. It was a showcase fight against a guy who has no power and no movement. A perfect setup by Oscar.

It's laughable that people think this was some great performance. Liam was picked to make him look great.

I agree, I think we will get the usual OTT reactions in the forum, we need to get some perspective, just like last week Golovkin was bashing up a career welterweight we have to be honest and say Canelo just bashed up a domestic, maybe European level fighter.

We didn't learn that much from either fighter if we are looking at a fight between Golovkin and Canelo because neither would perform the way they have against Brook and Smith, they both seemed to have zero respect for the power of either opponent and were just focused on landing and didn't seemed concerned with what was coming back at them. They would give each other far more respect and it would look nothing like what we have seen over the last week.
