Actually, no, they're not even close. Smith beat John Thomspon, and that's pretty much it. Bellew beat McKenzie, Cleverly, Chilemba, Ajisafe, Makabu, Masternak, Miranda and Bolonti. I'm not the biggest fan of his, to say the least, but he does have a decent resume.
He's got a crap resume.. The best name he's ever fought in his career is Stevenson and he got wiped out.. I don't care about never We'res, I don't give much credit for gate keepers, and blown up middles such as Miranda. He's easily the weakest in the division.
Cleverly and Chilemba are solid as hell, Makabu is too. Sure he's the weakest in the division, no one is denying that, but that's not some kind of indictment of the division itself. You can't judge the whole WW division because Rico Mueller is a titlist can you?
I don't count IBO titles as as a world titlist, but surely Baloo is the weakest link, and is most likely to lose his strap before any of the other CWS..

This is no personal attack on Usyk but the cruiswerwight division is terrible. A merry go round of poor fighters passing the belts around between each other. The division is only rated by boxing hipsters.
I hate hipsters, I'm the furthest one could get from one, and I rate the Cruiserweight division very highly, its far better than the Land of the Giants, and its more competitive than Welterweight is at the moment.
Really isn't man. Usyk, Lebedev, Drozd, Briedis, Dorticos are very well rounded and highly skilled operators. Glowacki, Huck, Gassiev, Makabu, Mchunu, Ramirez maybe more specialized, not quite as versatile, or have a more obvious weakness but damn good fighters. Even guys outside or fringe top 10 like Kalenga, Durodola, Kucher, Kudryashov, Chakhkiev are better than most divisions 7-10's. It's stacked with killers, specialists, and damn near ever single one of them can punch like a mule. Oh and they actually fight each other!!
