Canelo obviously got a lot better since the Floyd embarrassment, but I'm still not sure about how he fares against smart fighters. Lara is considered smart but he's a one dimensional fighter, all he can do is circle the ring and counterpunch. Brook is better than Lara, way better. Lara wouldve ran from golovkin all night, and lost a UD if he made it to the 12th.

Who u got? I got Brook

Nowhere to run from Golovkin, no way Lara sees the 12th and that's why he's never tried to make a fight with Triple G

This would be the fight i want next for el cinnabun if not Ggg.
I think canelo would out muscle him frankly. But it would be a great fight.

Tough fight for Canelo. Brook doesn't do anything exceptionally well but he a very tidy boxer who moves well laterally. It's a fight I'd like to see if Canelo keeps avoiding Golovkin.

Canelo has a weight advantage and hits harder but Brook showed he had a good chin vs Golovkin so barring an injury it would likely go the distance and Canelo can be outboxed, we saw that vs Trout, Lara, Mayweather and even Khan. Close fight, one I think Brook can win, doesn't mean he'll get the decision though in a close fight.

I would like to see Brook V Canelo... That would be a nice treat, but might be too risky for GBP

Brook lasts 8 rounds. That's it.

On the other hand, if Canelo can get to that orbital, maybe less.

Hopefully Brook would have to earn a Canelo fight first. Brook would get beat by the Charlo's, Andrade, and Williams. Not sure why people are hyping him up for getting a controversial win over Porter, and then getting smacked around by Golovkin and quitting.

If it took GGG that long to KO Brook, how and why does Canelo beat him in easier fashion?
I understand Canelo has some great work to the body, but that is against fighters who stand in front of him.

If Khan had the ability to outbox and embarrass Canelo with his speed and movement, why would Brook not be able to capitalize off Canelos plodding?

I mean, he had the balls to get within range with GGG and took a number of his shots, why would he not be able to wear Canelos and outbox him in the process?

I know Canelo has got much better over the past 2 years but...I don't understand the hype with the guy.

Against Smith, I could see a mixture of ODLH, BHOP and Mayweather in Canelo's style.
He's using ODLH's high guard, BHOP's combinations, and Mayweather's jab, straight rights and plenty of uppercuts. Although I'm in love with uppercuts, I think Canelo may be a little Uppercut crazy.

Against Canelo, Brook would fare even worst than Khan. Canelo by KO rd3.

Agreed. You can tell Canelo is a student of the sport. He learns from other fighters.

Also agree that Brook who fought Ggg more aggressive than Khan did against Canelo would get caught a lot sooner than Khan.
