The purse should be what ever crumbs the A-Side team decide to throw Golovkin. 75/25 split seems fair for a nobody.
Be real. If the fight is in Texas, 80,000 will buy tickets to see Canelo while about 8,000 will buy because of Golovkin.

Boxing is a sport/ business and like any other business its a doggy dog world.
It s gonna be very interesting just to see whats the split gonna be. I think it will be something like 60-40 for GB but it depends on many factors. Anything can happen from now to.....well, till the suits decide the time is right.

DuckNelo ScaredVarez wants the bigger share because OscarE DelaFishnet knows ClownNelo will retire after GGG does to him what Pacman did to DelaFishnet...

I'm a fan of GGG, but 55/45 is not realistic at the moment.

And that's why gg didn't get the call to the big leagues and stuck selling $20 low budget ppvs overseas

Gg can enjoy his 45% of nothing

I'm pretty sure such an arrangement has never occurred in boxing

Canelo should get 60%. Like it or not he is the major draw here.

40% is far too much for Golovkin. That's akin to offering 40% to a nobody like Murray or Geale.
    Golovkin deserves 20%, 25% MAX!
If he wanted more than he should have fought somebody real.

That's pretty fair and in an ideal world this would be the real split.

GGG should take 20% that's what Canelo took with Cotto, just get him in the ring then if you win you become the man anyone who was so confident in there chances would take this risk

Remember Canelo while taking the 20% got all the TV Azteca tv money from Mexico

This fight has to be in Las Vegas but I guess a Texas fight would generate more money at the gate, but Golovkin BETTER GET THE KO in Texas because nobody beats a Mexican on the cards in Texas but a Mexican.

I'm sure they will allow GGG to get the Kazahstani tv money.
