Ramirez would be a great pro. He has amazing skill, and he also loves to throw and put on a show too. His 'discipline problems' between Olympics could be a positive in the pro business, where he wouldn't be forced to meet the demands of team training and what he might see as meaningless lower-level tournaments, and a promoter would allow him to express himself. With so many great matchups from 115-122, damn I want to see this guy make the jump.

Conflicting claims here, but I can't find a report of him saying he's either committed to staying amateur or is considering turning pro. If he's keeping quiet that should suggest there's a chance he defects.

 

I feel like all the discipline problems were because he accomplished too much too young, but i don't know, on his best night he is the best fighter in his weight.
