Why take the fight in the first place?
Warren is unlikeable ,but the Eubanks are not?

I have always been a fan of Sr, but comments like that is exactly why people are really turning on him. Even as a fan of Sr I can't defend that comment, I actually think it's rather sick all things considered.

Blackwell is still fresh in people's minds and that comment is beyond tasteless and an obvious attempt to cause a stir in the media and keep the Eubank name in the headlines because Jr isn't doing enough in the ring (fighting and beating top contenders) to secure those headlines.

After the Jacobs duck, the Saunders II duck and the Golovkin duck and the constant Twitter boasting I think I'm seriously going off the pair of them.

So according to Fish Eyes English has been having meetings with ITV, no doubt about the long rumoured PPV channel.

 

I have been told the real reason for Eubank Jr pulling out of this fight wasn't an injury but it was because FW was putting Sr's alleged love child/son on the bill, Nathanael Wilson. Wilson is signed with FW.

FW won the purse bid and therefore Team Eubank could not dictate who was on the bill etc. anyway that's apparently why it wasn't postponed and rescheduled for a later date because FW would have put Nathanael Wilson on the new date and Sr wasn't having any of it. So the Eubank's were stuck, cornered or whatever you want to say.

They had no real choice, either fight on the same bill or vacate.

How true this is I have no idea, it actually sounds plausible if you think about why it just wasn't rescheduled but if it was then why didn't FW say it, he don't give a toss about what he says about the Eubank's so maybe it is just coincidence that Wilson was on the bill Jr pulled out of.

What are your thoughts?

 

I'm happy to buy that but just as much as FW should have said it, so should the Eubanks (if true). If this is the case, I suspect FW was either 1) trolling to get them back for being difficult in the past 2) proving a point that they won't work unless everything is their terms

 

Why should the Eubank family decide who is on a Warren promotion? You have the two major promoters in the UK both saying the Father & Son are a pair of knobs, is that coincidence?

 

They don't ,I just do not give them any credibility.Did anyone seriously think the son was going to fight GGG ,it was just using the man's name to get some cheap publicity.Everytime they open their stupid gobs a pile of sh*t comes out.

 

Surely it's up to the board to decide on their British Title match ups and the risk of mismatches?

Didn't the board intervene early in Bruno's career stating he'd have to stop fighting people way below his level?

They have no interest in fighting any world level fighters - he was exposed against a guy in BJS who they clearly feel is beneath them so he won't fight Canelo/GGG/Jacobs/BJS, would duck someone like Liam Smith
