Oscar is in damaged control after damaging Canelo's brand by not fighting GGG. There should of been 100000 at At&t. Mexicans are so disappointed in Canelo! A Filipino vs an African Drew 50,999 to Canelos 51,244 .

    Hilarious.

He knows that if GG beats Jacobs and BJS it will give K2 more leverage.

Earlier on this year, Oscar asked for a voluntary to fight Khan. Then they supposedly dropped the belt to make negotiations easier. Yet they then went straight to Smith, and only had brief talks with K2 after that fight had been finalised. So he messed K2 around a lot. But now he wants them to jump through hoops for him? I don't think so. You can't demand someone to sign a contract a year away from the fight. It's absurd. Yet incredibly, there's absolute idiots on here who actually see it as a duck if they don't comply. Ha! The specifics will be discussed next year, but only if Oscar truly wants the fight.

:bandit: Desperate action by Cocaine O$car (too much BLOW?) , after having already made such a mess of Canelo's reputation. Having Canelo clinging to the WBC championship (155lb. Canelo weight or NO FIGHT), only to then "SURRENDER THE BELT" was insane.

Now O$car's trying to "USE THE PRESS"... urging GGG/K2 to sign a contract without negotiation.

:bash: The pressure from the fans and press has gotten to O$car/GBP/Canelo, resulting in these CLOWNS issuing one stupid statement after another !!!

Thing is with Oscar we may all hate him but he knows the game and plays it well,Anguelo,Kirkland,Cotto,Khan and Liam Smith all Tailor made opponents for the big jnr middleweight,Canelo and Oscar have that luxury of being able to pick opponents as they all want a pay day,I think Oscar has learned from his own career,I loved watching Oscar and all I can remember is him being on the wrong end of a decision after a close fight and he always took it honourably,he's well within his rights to have his fighter have a few tune ups at 160.

I think it's a good sign that Oscar and Canelo are on the same page about offering terms to K2,it may be bull **** but it's better than what they were saying just a few weeks ago when incedently they said theyed sent the offer to K2

Take that money, sign the contract and get whooped up! It's as simple as that.

Ah but you forget Canelo is still the ring magazine champion at middleweight!
How can that be when Golovkin has four of the belts to Canelos none?

Yep. Oscar the BS artist. 2 weeks ago, he said emphatically that Golovkin would only get a flat fee. Now there's an upside?

If Golden Boy were co-promoters of his next few fights or has some sort of financial reward from them.

If GBP offer GGG a 40% split for a fight next September (or sooner), the contract would e signed instantly.
