RJJ is the most talented fighter I've seen, everyone mentions Ray Robinson but they say his best fights were never recorded

I have Duran at #6 in my all-time P4P list and everone above him was fron a previous era.

It depends how you classify "talent" I suppose - in terms of speed, power, athleticism etc, RJJ is the best I've ever seen but Duran had everything.

Pernell Whitaker's the only fighter at 135 that would be a threat to Duran.

Whitaker would give any fighter pure hell and would absolutely be a huge threat to Duran .

That I can agree with .

Nonsense. You guys are very selective in which victory you want to hold in high regards. Leonard got stupid and fought Duran fight the first time. Went back to the drawing board, came back and schooled the man twice. Leonard victory over a prime Hearns..... you know, the Hearns that faceplanted Duran and his comeback victory over Haglar shits all over anything Duran ever did. Not only that he beat Duran twice and made him quit. Thomas Hearns knocked the man the fuk out. Haglar beat the **** out of him. I don't give a **** about his 135 campaign. Who did Duran beat at 135 besides Buchanen. I'm watching his fight against Wilfred Benitez and Benitez is schooling the **** out the man and this guys is supposedly to be the "most talented fighter of all time".
Oh, in case you forgot, Ray Leonard KO'ed Benitez 3 years earlier before Benitez schooling of Duran.

    Get the **** at here.

A so called "most tallented fighter" should know how to adjust to footwork and slickness. Not quit and have his fans 40 yeas later trying to rewrite history.

Duran wasn't expected to beat SRL or Moore or especially Barkley, Hearns, and Hagler. He was way past his best and not consistent, but when motivated, even a shot Duran could upset anyone, and thats what he did with Moore and Barkley, who both would of whooped Benitez and did. Montreal Duran would of beaten any slick fighter in history, SRL tried to box him and tried to be slick once he found out going toe to toe was a bad idea. Duran had partyed way too much and weighed 200lbs after his big win over SRL. Everyone knows he wasn't the same.
