Bisping was his usual douchey self in the buildup to that fight and talked a bigger cheque than his ass could cash. :yep Henderson is a pretty chilled guy, it just goes to show what a toss Bisping had to be to rile Hendo up like that. I would be :rofl if Dan repeated that performance.
Bisping is going to win this fight. All Henderson has right now is a strong but predictable punch that Bisping knows more than anyone that he should be wary of. Bisping through superior standup and great takedown defense. We're probably going to see Henderson get pieced up and TKO'd and retire afterwards. I think he's retiring win or loss, but I do not see him winning this fight at all.
Don't see the problem, Bisping has won the title after a number of years hovering around the top fighters and deservedly won. For what Bisping has done for UFC he is entitled to want that revenge and hopefully allows Bisping to keep the title for a little bit longer.
Dan Hendo is a top middleweight at least top 10. I don't see this as a bad matchup at all, there really is no one else other than Vitor or Souza.
Or conversely to see if Hendo can finally win a UFC title in his last fight and become oldest champ ever. Bis is a weak enough title holder for even a shot Hendo to have a realistic chance. I think that's why the vast majority of people are buying into this fight.
Bisping is a champ now? Wow. Dude is a douche. But he stuck it out for this long. Deserves respect for that.
He beat Luke Rockhold. Rockhold showed some pretty terrible fundamentals in their fight and got KO'd easily. Bisping has very underrated boxing for MMA standards. I should have bet on that fight.
Rockhold beat the crap put of him in their 1st fight tho. The last minute switch of opponents and underestimating a guy he already crushed definitely played a part in the performance.
That was actually a decent fight and went differently than I thought it would be. Bisping did win, but it was pretty close.
