Probably the closest to reality. I would place him in the TOP 40-60th.

I can't see him making the top 30, that's for sure.

obviously not top 5 or even close.

That's not the end of Moneys problems - he chopped and changed divisions so much that he never made an ATG mark on any single division. He will never be in a top ten ATG list for any single division.
Though one cant deny that a FW winning a title at LMW is definitely ATG worthy.

Granted Bert Sugar died in 2012 he was one of boxings most iconic writers and historians. I do think there are some flaws on this list and that Floyd and Manny should crack the top 100 albeit alot closer to 100 and most likely not in the top 50. There are also other great boxers left out and some I would move lower and others higher. Making a top 100 takes alot of time if you intend to do it seriously so I thought I would use this as an example. I posted my top 10 on the other board. RIP Bert Sugar.

there are many list of top 100 on internet. bert sugar is well respected so his list must be. But what also must be noted he never liked mayweather so that must be taken into consideration.

I personally am not knowledgable enough to cross decades of boxing and make these kinds of determinations.

however every list I have seen has TBE in the top 25 p4p all time.

Floyd is close to as good as Pernell Whittaker, who, I believe, should be higher on any top 100 list.
He's #48 on Burt's list. So top 35-40 is ok.

    Top 5? GTFOH and fuggettaboutit.

Not to mention defeated 23 world champions
Also he was the highest paid athlete and did not have a single sponsor. Floyd Mayweather is simply incredible

    "World Champions" lol...
A lot of those guys wouldn't have come close to a title shot if there was only one belt. Ortiz? Guerrero? Berto? Come on, man...
