You can't even win, even if I let you.. That's how much knowledge of the sport you don't have.

Mayweather ducked Golovkin. If you can't see that, you DKSAB.

I'm a big GGG fan, but Floyd did not duck GGG. Floyd is 1-2 weight classes below GGG, that should be end of story. Floyd had a chance to attempt to significantly enhance his legacy by taking on GGG, and he chose not to take the (huge) risk. That's not a duck, because GGG is bigger and in a different division. Personally I don't think Floyd would win this, he's too old.

It's the same reason GGG didn't duck Ward at 168. You cannot duck fighters outside your division. You can miss out on the chance to enhance your legacy, but it's not a duck.

But in this case, the division is not relevant. It would have been contested at 154 where Floyd was the "lineal" champ. If Ward said he'd fight Golovkin at 160 and Golovkin passed, it would have been a duck.

I disagree with your last paragragh. GGG did duck Ward because if you're going to sit there and say "anyone from 154-168" that means you're open to challenges at those weight classes. Had that never been said, then it's not a duck..

But they're going even further now saying they'll knockout anyone from 154-168. If that's the case take the challenges..

Floyd is a natural 147, he just popped up to a catchweight for the Canelo fight. Hence 154 would've been up a division for Floyd. Of course I wish Floyd had taken the GGG fight, but it's unfair to accuse him of ducking GGG imo.

There's some truth to that, but from my view:

    1. I don't take what fighters, promoters, and most of all trainers, claim seriously. Strictly speaking you're right, but as I said, these people talk nonsense and hype all the time.

    2. GGG didn't want to go to 168 for the Ward fight because he wants the Canelo payday. A business decision, not one that's good for his legacy, but I feel that calling it a duck is going too far.

Golovkin barely scored one meaningful win and already he's going 100% money purely based on hype. His mentally incapable fans fail to see through it.

I bet you're one of the many insects that rates Golovkin vs Rubio above Kovalev vs Ward. Hell the bums Kovalev fought put GGG's entire laughable resume to shame. Kovalev is a beast and has done nothing but aim for the best regardless of money and other political rubbish.
