I mean, he could do worse as a first fight at 160lb, but Canelo stomps Stevens.

What happened to Lemieux vs Stevens anyway?

Rosado has a heck of a chin. GTFO with that glas chin talk.
But in regards to Stevens, he has registered his best wins after that humiliating loss to Brinkley, and thats rather sad.
Stevens has power and thats it. He is on the same level as Rosado. He can beat decent fighter but will always loose to a top contender.

It would be no stomping .

Curtis Stevens is not the easiest man to stop or knock out . The man is durable .

I don't know if Canelo can hurt a strong full fledged MW like Stevens . I doubt it .

Its more likely Stevens would stop Canelo at 160 than vice versa . But I don't see either fighter getting stopped .

Both men are entertaining so I would not mind too much if this fight was made .

    Although I would prefer

    Canelo vs Lemieux .

    or

    Canelo vs Andy Lee .

That's a good fight to showcase at 160, Stevens should be competitive until he gets KO'd.

People are just not being realistic or they are lying to themselves . One of the other .

Angulo took Canelo's best powershots for 10 rounds straight and never came close to even hurting Angulo , not even once .

Canelo loading up with everything he had and cracking Angulo with nothing but haymakers .

Angulo reacted as if Malignaggi was hitting him signaling Canelo " Whatever , keep bringing it"

    LMAO .

Let me remind you . That was Alfredo Angulo .

Curtis Stevens started out as a Light-heavyweight and is now a full fledged Middleweight .

Stevens has Boxing skills , Pretty quick hands , good head movement . Solid left hook .

Canelo came nowhere close to knocking out Angelo or even hurting him... But hes going to KO a strong stocky 160 pounder like Stevens ?

LOL Yeah that's not going to happen .

Stevens would do good, get frustrated, then it's all down hill after that. Canelo's sharp shooting will be too much for him imo...

I think the boxing public isn't very patient right now. Canelo/Stevens would be considered to be a mismatch, it won't happen.

What seriously Canelo in a mismatch never,I mean Liam Smith a guy who lives in my region of the U.K. And yet I'd never heard of him,no he wasn't a mismatch right?
Amir Khan wasn't a mis match either,OK for four rounds he out boxed Canelo and looked like hit man hearns on the outside until that fateful punch that we all knew would come,no mismatch there either.
Cotto there's a name and a fighter until the poor bugger stepped in the ring and found himself 20lbs smaller, some say that's the biggest Canelo ever been that night.
Kirkland the poor sod never stood a chance
Angulo no point in writing owt

At 160 I've no probs if Canelo picks two bums as tune ups but just as long as they don't try and sell em as pay per view fights,he's gotten out of his next free fight for television as he's bust his thumb.

I thought he was gonna face the winner of Monroe and Rosado or even better Saunders

Stevens has big power and some blistering combinations. On the downside his footwork isn't exactly spectacular. I could see Canelo outboxing him but if he stands in front of Curtis he will be pulverized.
