BILD is quoting K2 management saying that Wlad insists on fighting again this year, with or without Fury. If Fury is still unavailable, they're trying to either fight for the vacated belts or make it an interim championship fight.

Good news, I hope it happens so Wlad does not register a wasted year.

How about a matchup with Luiz Ortiz or Lucas Browne?

 

The last photo had him looking like a 60 Jewish accountant.

 

I would love to see Joshua or Wilder in there with Vlad

 

At least he can get a fight in then. Pretty bad situation to be in at the winter of his career though.

 

It won't be Wilder he's supposedly injured until spring time next year.

Joshua is set to fight on the 26th of November, I doubt Hearn will want to scrap his own card. I doubt Joshua would so quickly fight Wlad after possibly fighting Parker.

In terms of who is free to fight, we have Haye, Ortiz, Ustinov, Hughie Fury if he doesn't get banned next month, Price and Briggs.

 

Duhaupas, fast fatty Ruiz, both Teper and Browne are back from doping issues too.
But Ustinov would probably be very easy to make for the vacant WBA championship.

 

Eddie Hearn has tweeted they have reached out to team Klitchko for Nov 26th for Joshua.

Joshua would be a good credible opponent ( Who also happens to have a title ) so Vlad can show he still has what it takes, even at 40

 

Wlad has a lot of options depending on what the sanctioning bodies rule.

He could fight Ortiz for an interim belt.

He could fight Parker or if Parker takes the Josua fight he could take on Ruiz for an interim belt.

If Joshua's handlers allow it he could fight him in a mega fight.

And although he has shown zero interest in fighting anyone with a pulse he could fight Wilder in the New Year.

Shame to see the titles get fractured but Wlad does deserve a big fight.

 

Screw that, Haye needs to fight Briggs first before he gets another shot at Klitschko. I would rather see Briggs get the Klitschko fight over Haye because it seems to me that Haye is trying to duck Briggs after giving his word that he would be next. As for the Hughie Fury fight... I'm not a fan of Hughie but I would absolutely LOVE for Klitschko to take him on in December and just do a Kovalev-Pascal II on him for a few rounds. "Make him more pain". Come super close to knocking him out each round than back off for a bit so the ref doesn't stop it. I would love that for Team Fury. Especially after all this bulls**t.
