Hasn't done himself any favours with the rubbish he's spouted in the past about other fighters, he's a complete and utter hypocrite and liar. That coupled with the fact he is a drugs cheat and has no respect for the sport leaves me with the opinion that him retiring would probably be the best thing for everyone.

 

There's no proof that he's a drug cheat - innocent until proven guilty.

He's been shafted since he won the title - mainly by the media, but by a lot of the public too. Even the governing bodies and authorities have been at it. Who leaked his supposed failed drugs test? UKAD? The British Boxing Board? Disgraceful behaviour. It really has been a witch hunt.

I can understand why he has had the mental breakdown that he has. He de-throned Wlad and got pretty much eff all credit - everyone was too busy vilifying him for a few comments. Add in the fact that AJ, despite achieving much less and being convicted drug dealer, got huge props from all and sundry and it is not hard to see why he has gone the way he has gone.

 

In a way this is Haye's fault. If he'd have fought him back when that fight was due then Tyson would have got his payday and probably an L to go with it, saving the HW division from this shitshow.

 

He's the best boxer on the planet bar none. Whatever you think of him, thats a fact!

Personally I think the media and public are scum for treating him how they have. It's a disgrace! His achievement in Germany is unprecedented for a British boxer. The chap didn't get a fraction of the praise he deserved, quite the opposite in fact.

 

Hang your heads in shame for disrespecting such a fantastic young champion!

 

The media aren't on his side but they don't make him do any of the idiotic things he does.

He's a liar and a hypocrite for sure. Add that he's probably a drugs cheat too and it makes him a thoroughly hard man to like. Everyone is sick of him making a mockery of the title he claims he's so proud to hold.

 

In the past I've heard tyson speak quite earnestly and touchingly about his mental health, what he went through when his baby was seriously ill, and the unique challenges of being a traveller. That doesn't excuse some of the horrible things he's said, but it inclines me to think he's not a cartoon monster but a man with genuine problems who needs time to recover, regardless of Sky schedules. Even his greatest triumphs, and the times he looked to be just having a laugh (batman suit etc) are possibly best viewed as the manic, past caring episodes of a bipolar disorder

 

Needs to get his head right first and foremost - nobody with mental health issues should ever go into the ring

 

Fury should be stripped of his titles, Vlad should fight for them, then fight Fury after Fury gets well, if he gets well..................something is wrong with him..............can't hold up the title forever, it's time to move on.......................Vlad by knockout, very vicious knockout if they ever fight again....................

 

Real Fury fans knew he would beat Wlad though.. a lot say no one except Fury's camp believed it.. but there was some..

He failed a drug test (along with his brother) and has been charged by UKAD. He just had his suspension put back until after the Wlad rematch, no doubt strings were pulled and palms greased for that.
