Tyson Vs Max Baer

Cut the crap you have offered no real reasons for a Baer win Baer does not have the boxing skills or accuracy to land on Tyson with any consistency and No he would'nt win just because he would'nt be scared of Tyson. He is a slightly better version of Ruddock and only because he did win the title (in a rather dismal era) .

Tyson wins by KO early or punishes Baer in a 12 round decision.

 

Some of you guys really believe Tyson has a better resume than Joe Frazier ???!!!
I think you need to re-consider that.

Anyway, Max Baer would be a significant step up for Tyson, compared to most of the men Tyson beat. So would Max Schmeling, who Baer beat thoroughly.

 

Tyson would've knocked Schmeling out within 3, I'd bet the house on it.

Baer might last longer on account of his better durability and size, but he still gets chopped down or loses a UD ala Ruddock.

 

Tyson would do a number on Baer. Way too much handspeed for Baer to deal with. Those wide and sometimes backhanded shots that Baer throws aren't going to find the mark often enough to discourage Tyson. I'd say Tyson by a brutal mid round stoppage.

 

For whatever ists worth he would be.

When Baer was up against unfavourable odds he sudenly sopped clowning and got down to business.

He would know that he could not aford to jerk around against Tyson.

frazier did beat ali, and he was competent in 3 fights against ali. he did clean the division, he did beat quarry,mathis,bonavena,chuvalo,ellis,bugner, machen.. frazier lost only against 2 atg ali and foreman(style).
tyson was knocked out by buster douglas(a ****ing bum, yes yes tokyo douglas blablabla). tyson faced 2 legends(holyfield and lewis), and he was dominated and defeated badly by them. joe frazier had by far better resume than tyson

Baer's power couldnt hurt Louis who has a glass chin and it wouldnt hurt Tyson who had a better chin than Louis. Tyson was a much harder puncher than Louis and Louis iced Max in 1 round and Tyson would kill him in 1 round.

 

Tyson was KO'D by BUSTER DOUGLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....Baer killed 2 guys with his right had.....

 

Baer destroys Tyson....my god...when did Tyson become bullet proof....

 

I like Tyson early ... no doubt Baer had a big right but so did Bonecrusher Smith and so many others .. in addition, I don't think Baer was anywhere strong enough ... Tyson way too good.
