Golovkin is the Man at 160. I reckon 100 million pesos and a big mac are fair wages for Canelo to take him on

 

Canelo doesn't have the nuts to so much as take on somebody like Lemieux at 160. Lemieux at 160 would destroy the majority of Canelo's resume without breaking a sweat.

In fact, I'd like to very much see CanYellow against Kell Brook myself, to see just how well Alvarez fares against a "blown up welterweight" who can actually fight. I reckon Brook takes him to hell. This isn't stringbean Khan who has pillow fists and a cotton candy chin.

Of course ODLH made a bizz decision with the ducking. Brilliant in terms of economics for GB & Canelo. Not so good in terms of popularity for the fighter, but even those angry now at Canelito will tune in when the fight comes and they'll kiss his feet and all will be forgotten if he beats GGG.
With the 12 mil flat fee Oscar is saying now F××× you Gennady, we took all the blame, why should you be gaining from the extra hype ?

There will be a lot of casuals who will buy the fight, both fighters have fan friendly styles and even people who havent watched a rd of boxing since MayPac will open their wallets. Oscar knows this. Its the same financial wizardry as MayPac.

I just assumed with him making an offer for the fight it means he wants the fight.

Funny how none of this nonsense went on in the Ward - Kovalev negotiations, which is arguably an even bigger fight than Canelo-GOlovkin.
K2 is always so greedy and whining to the point of the fight not being made, as in Ward, BHOP and Lara.
Way back during the Froch talks K2 was probably begging for 50/50 split, gate and PPV too. LOL!
