That doesn't get noticed enough. Back in Pacquiaos prime, circa 2003 to around 2009 or so he was capable of absorbing and ignoring extreme pain.

How many guys could expose themselves shoulder to shoulder with Barrera and just simply eat his best shots with ease?

How many guys could again line up shoulder to shoulder with Marquez and take Marquez's haymakers and not even get dazed one bit?

How many guys could walk down Morales like that? Nobody walked down Morales. Erik was the one who would do the walking down.

How many Featherweights do you know who could absorb haymakers from LightWelter, Welterweight Miguel Cotto? Pacquiao had a busted ear drum from Cotto in round 2. He even let Cotto hit him to measure his power. That's a ****ing G. What a boss.

The only time I recall Pacquiao being stunned in his prime was against Larios. Who hit Pac with a combo that he didn't see at all. Other than that he was never even buzzed, let alone hurt. And he was doing this walking right into people's shots.

He did, fought the biggest hitters in the weight classes he fought and never got hurt. He really had more wars over an extended period than any one has had at a long time. Truly a big feat for an aggressive fighter. After 20 years of going to war Kryptonite hit him with a perfectly timed shot. **** happens, only been a few guys that have come back at the top level after that ko loss, especially at the age he was.

And the Marquez KO doesn't count since JMM was clearly on steroids. Seriously, I'm not joking. If you can't see that he was, you're an idiot.

No we're not the idiots, you are.
When the drug accusation came out, why did Pac and his people decline JMM proposal that they both get tested?
    You pactans are morons.

By continuing moving up in weight into fighters natural power you run the risk of being floored and eventually ko'd.

A guy can take 5000 bombs in his career but if he gets KO"d once he automatically has a weaker chin than a guy who takes 200 bombs and get's wobbled on each one. AT least to this forum. Even ignoring Marquez's obvious PED abuse he was one of the best counter punchers of his era and his entire gameplan relied on setting up that perfect shot. He was dropping rounds easier than he had done in any fight before because he was 100% focused on the KO. That's hardly a knock to Manny. His previous two KO's came when he was a teenager. Not even grown into his adult body yet.

Nobody who gets one shot KO'd has a granite chin. Hyperbole at best. He's tough enough to become a champion, that's it.

One of the GOATs. His run of Hatton-Cotto-Clottery-Margarito was the greatest run in boxing history.

No one under light heavyweight would survive that shot landed by Marquez. Biggest KO punch I've ever seen.

Granite chins don't get smashed. Surely that makes sense?
