For the drama to build the public need to believe that one side actually wants the fight,I get where GB are coming from as it would be bad business to start with anything over than 90/10 but the truth is Canelo either gos back down to 154 and fights the accepted best in that division,make a fight with Brook and possibly Spence or make the fight with GGG as public pressure has become too great and they know it,at least Bowe never had the Internet lighting him up each day and nothing Oscar says will work after what they've already pulled so if Oscar says well we tried and they won't accept the money offered,it won't be believed by the public?

There is no pressure to make the Canelo fight. Canelo can stay at 154 and he has many challenges, GG doesn't. GG might have two left. BJS and Jacobs. But history won't be kind to Canelo, and if Canelo wants to change that, then he must fight GG.

 

It's a pity it doesn't work that way since you put it like that infact Canelo should be GGGs personal butler by now.

The "public" believes what they want to believe and you seem to be proof of that. DLH has been stating for some time that he was going to let the fight "marinate" and even claimed that their target date was Sept of next year on many occasion. He seems to be right on target with that. Has made a very generous offer, which IMO is only a start, and many of you ignorantly continue to believe that Canelo is afraid of GGG even if the latter declines the biggest purse
he is likely to see in his career.
