If Oscar was serious, he wouldn't negotiate through the media. Canelo isn't a star like Mayweather or Pacquiao were when they were at their peak. Canelo won't do a million buys against anyone that is currently available, except maybe Golovkin. So Oscar needs to get off his high horse, and make a real offer to Golovkin. If I was Golovkin's handlers, I wouldn't take anything less than 35% of the cut. Golden Boy is quick to say that 10 million would be a career high payday for Golovkin, which is true. But if the PPV sells well, with Canelo getting the lions share, then it will be a career high payday for Canelo too. So Oscar needs to stop fvcking around and make the fight already.

That's why I asked the question about Canelos next fights, who ever seriously heard of a fight being made more than a year away lol,I thought Kellerman and co were protecting Canelo but it seems that they've now gotten tired of this charade.
I'm not a so called GGG nut hugger and that there are double standards,in the ring I'm still a fan of Canelo but his career is of two halves one that demanded Lara and fought Mayweather to the guy who we see so protected, same warrior in the ring but finds himself stuck with a promotor who promised the public the opposite, come on Canelo fans you seen the vids by Mallinagi and Kellerman how is it when they're in the boxing trade that they know less than you?

Couldn't make it through the 8th page without cringing. Do the Bumluvkinites really believe GGG deserves a 35 to 45 percent split? :eusa_doh:What has he done to earn this money?

The man has fought nothing but BUMS, midgets, prospects and has been's all of his career.. His last PPV barely sold 100k. He DUCKED all the top competition North to marinate in bum land to become the Bum King. Now the Bum King is blatantly ducking the biggest payday of his career/exposure to Canelo's fanbase because.... well I'm not sure why.

    Quack quack quack.

This didn't happen between Andre and Kov, because both guys wanted the fight.

When was there a big fight and the winner got the bigger share of the pie in the contract? Bottom line, with big PPV events there is the big draw and his opponent! The big draw dictates the terms and usually gets the bigger share regardless of the outcome. IMHO, a 70/30 split is good and should be G's biggest pay day! He would be a fool to walk away from this. I don't see many big fights on the horizon for him at this stage of his career! Take the money and whoop some ass man!!!
