That's how it works, and if you see the bets on their fighters they still get the vast majority too with those bad odds.
Over 60% of all bets for Golovkin vs Brook were put on Kell, despite the odds being much closer as they should be. The guy went up 2 weightclasses against a monster, and the general consensus was that he wouldn't see the second half of the fight, which he didn't.
That made those bookies a sh_tload of money, and even if he had come up with the miracle of a lifetime then the loss due to payout wouldn't have been nearly as bad as it should have been if we had 1/8 to 1/10 odds for example.

All bets get cancelled when Fury pulls out of the fight for stubbing his toe and then pulls out the second time because someone on twitter calls him a bad name that makes him too sad to fight.

Wilder was getting outboxed by Szpilka.

Fury puts on a clinic against him.

    Wilder is a bum

    Fury destroys him

Wilder collapses just at the thought of fighting a man his own size!

A football hooligan was outboxing him and beating him to the jab!

No he wasn't. That's an exaggerated lie. It's like you guys weren't watching that fight.

Some how these clowns really think that Fury beating a past it Wlad who can't fight inside beats Wilder, lmfao. Wilder isn't Steve Cunningham. Fury is a ****en pathetic ass bum. And I blame Wlad solely for losing to this ****en Shagamaid.

The only thing Fury is destroying these days is the credibility of the heavyweight division.

Right now? Fury pulls an Oliver McCall in the ring, begins crying while Michael Buffer announces them, the falls completely apart upon receiving the first punch from Wilder. Fury is left a vomiting, crying, crapping heap in the middle of the ring. The paramedics strap him up and take him to a mental ward.
But he returns to the ring for a final rendition of "Oh Danny Boy". There's not a dry eye in the house.

He's shown flashes of fighting inside in the Szpilka, Duhaupus fight and Stiverne right. He won't jab and grab like Wlad.

Everybody knows Wilder has one of the shakiest set of whiskers in boxing. Fury just might shatter me.
