yeah his dominance was very impressive. Nearly 2 decades as an undefeated champion. I dont think we will see another boxer like floyd ever again

Well, considering that Ali started at light heavyweight and fought super heavyweights that means he moved up four weight classes in his career too. Or you could be of the school of thought that Ali was a natural heavyweight and Mayweather was a natural welterweight who just either stopped cutting weight or grew into their frames.

Guillermo Rigondeaux is still fighting. You can literally go see a boxer exactly like Floyd right now.

Rigondeaux doesn't have the luxury of fighting in great weight classes, he just hasn't ever fought anyone that could break into fmj top 15, hell top 20 wins. Does rigondeaux even have 20 fights ?

BTW, he's dominant too but not even close to what dominance fmj continually proved through 5 division beating every single top fighter in those division. Nah man rigondeaux can't compare

His victory over a prime Nonito Donaire may be better than any win Mayweather has.

rigo took donaires prime Floyd waited fo mannys to pass and then waited for marquez to smash some dents in that rust before Floyd would even contemplate the fight

He's not 1/10th as avoided as you claim. And he's never fought any top p4per, closest fighter would be flash, but he proved over time how vastly over rated he was.

Rigondeaux had so many opportunities to fight the other top fighters in his division, up and down a division.

Heck in his division you're so small you cou l d literally jump 3 weight classes and fight at your exact in ring weight..

Bob arum truly screwed him over, BA was trying to create another mythical fighter in donaire, donaires head got so big from a couple sweet ko's of very average to below average skilled fighters. (average to below average skilled for belt holders)

He wanted so much $$$ to fight anyone but arum didn't see it as worth it.. rigondeaux got a fat way out of shape over confident to epic proportions, donaire to beat up on. Worst version of flash ever and we've had some bad ones, for a fighter people try claiming as one of the best.

He wasn't ever one of the best 25 fighters, he had a span of 3 years where he had 2 highlight reel ko'so. That is 100% where he got his mythical "p4p" rating, never a p4p fighter as a whole

Rigondeaux could had fought Walter's or Loma, both called him out and were willing to sacrifice the weight loss.

Now we got Loma v Walter's. Great, if rigondeaux was 25% of what you claim he'd be at the presser calling, demanding the winner

Neither Floyd nor Ali is even top 10.

    Popularity does not equal talent.
