IBF title fight takes place in Nov / Dec in England.

They are just waiting for the reactions of the other orgs, may they put a second title on line.

Oh man that's great if true!
    Volodymyr vs Joshi :aaaaa:

Hope more as just the IBF belt will be on the line too. Not letting all the belts shatter around again

Lol I am so tired of my American brothers.

Wlad is such a gangster for being old balls and taking on the baddest young pup.

And Joshua is a pit bull for taking on an atg.

And here we are in the states and canelo coming up with every excuse in the book to put things on hold and fight some directv installer.

Huge credit to both men for taking this fight. It's refreshing to see high risk/high reward fights like this flat out get made so quickly without the usual posturing and drama. Joshua has been winning me over with his matchmaking, and I respect that he didn't take the hype job route he easily could've.

This is a high level crossroads fight and may be Wlad passing what's left of his torch to the next generation. Or, itll be a sign to the young gun that the old man isnt ready to bow out just yet. Can't wait.

I would love this fight to take place.

A real pick em fight for me.

I am siding with Wlad if he can get his mind right with the issues he is facing with his wife....

It's refreshing to see these 2 men take such a risky fight. In a division where we have contenders pull out of fights like Ruiz Jr and Ortiz, title holders like Wilder who only faces abysmal opposition and Fury who's not fought in a year, this is exactly what the division needs. 2 top heavies who are willing to take risks.

To my knowledge they've agreed the financials, but that's it. Date, location, etc, plenty of things to iron out. But things do seem to be moving forward in the right direction. Let's just hope things fall into place and we get a worthwhile fight.

I'm just disappointed for Parker who is being taken for a fool, by matchroom. They lied. This is the equilvant of Amir khan ducking Brook so he can gain his payday against Canelo which he knew he would lose to.

This is a mismatch once again, as Wlad has already taken care of AJ in sparring many times.

How has Parker been made a fool of. He was never initially meant to fight Joshua this year. The plan was he was to face Dimetrenko, then fight on the undercard of Joshua's next fight, supposedly against Price, to build a fight next year. Parker was only in the picture to fight this year as a last resort as Stiverne was mandated to fight Povetkin and then Pulev asked for too much money. But then Fury did what he did and this fight now looks like a possibility.

Everything is going forward so far as expected for Parker. Only change has been possibly to Joshua who may now fight Wlad instead of Pulev.
