Who do you feel the most under rated boxer in the UK is right now?

Good shout about mark heffron but management issues that have now been resolved, under new management you will be seeing alot more of him and he will be a busy fighter, we was suppose to be weighing in tomorrow but for unforeseen circumstances the show has been rescheduled for two week. Hes had his head down for 15 months and still young compared to the super middle top ten in uk. Big future.

 

I know Bob Ajisafe personally, having been in the same year as him at school. I think he's gone under the radar because he hasn't been overly active in the early portion of his career, due to being avoided -- something which, according to his mother, was discouraging Bob, and caused him to seriously consider packing boxing in at one point. He is now getting the exposure his talents and hard work deserve, courtesy of Channel 5, along with profile pieces in previous editions of Boxing Monthly and Boxing News.

Domestically I would say Liam Williams, along with Bob; I really do rate Liam Williams very highly, and believe he can go all the way to World honours at 154.

At 'World' level, my picks would be Jamie McDonnell and James Degale, followed by Kell Brook and Lee Selby. Jamie McDonnell seems to be an extremely capable operator in a division deemed unfashionsnle to the casual fan, and is going about his business in an assured manner. Degale has rebounded from the loss to George Groves, and has diligently built an impressive resume -- and like McDonnell, has shown a willingness to travel.

Brook and Selby are both classy operators, who desperately need to get those big fights which will make the casual fans / general public take notice of them (Brook has wasted precious time in this regard, by waiting on a Khan fight when there are the likes of Thurman, Spence Jr, Porter, Bradley, Danny Garcia and Jessie Vargas are in the same weight class as him). Kell Brook already has a degree of notoriety and name recognition of course, due to the machete attack in September 2014.

thats bang on and he s been training hard ready for his next fight at Middelton arena manchester 5th November...no one dare fight him is what I heard....

 

Liam Walsh and probably Ryan Walsh too may surprise a lot of people soon. Will take world class fighters to beat either one.

no i think we all know how flawed and reckless Eubank is. only thing thats obvious is he will always struggle with someone who can actually box and is good on his feet. only reason he'd beat BJS is BJS' inactivity and fitness over 12

 

wouldn't slate you for that, he looks really impressive, would like to see him defend the british a couple of times then push on and see what level he actually is

 

a lot of people on here saying James DeGale but him and Tyson Fury were the people identified as Britains only true world champions (as in best in their division). if you mean he doesnt get as ,much exposure id agree, but dont think hes underrated

 

Degale simply isn't a likeable character. If he was he'd be massive because he's clearly talented.

His career has been massively held back by delusions of grandeur - I remember him once saying he was the supermiddleweight equivalent of Mayweather - and coming across a bit of a *****.

It says something when you play the arrogant heel in a match up with George Groves.

i thought he was embarrassing in the build up to the Groves fight, makes me cringe on that ringside interview with them both. but Groves tie was very suspect tbh lol
