Yup, to say he is a level above domestic British comp which includes the likes of Dillian Whyte, Dave Allen etc is delusional. We saw what happened when he moved up to Euro level with Teper lol.

Perkovic is a solid journeyman, but Price doesn't learn anything by pushing over another journeyman at this moment.
He needs real competetion like Chisora.

If Price gets a solid win under his belt, that fight will be made.

They'll obviously sell it as two Brits in a heavyweight world title fight... then put the Olympian v Olympian spin on it and of course involve the sparring story drive the hype.

Dave Allen would be a much better fight than what we're being given tonight.

You say glorified punch bag, but the man is ****ing durable and he'll certainly give Price rounds... which he needs.

What will blowing this guy tonight away do? Ok it gets him out under the lights, but it's hardly even ticking over?

At least going in with Allen, he will be given rounds.... Allen isn't a big banger but he'll still have to stay alert and switched on to make sure he doesn't get caught with a looping shot, he can put into practice some of the work he's been doing with Coldwell, if he could stop Allen which would be an ask (but given Price has a rocket in his right hand) he goes one better than Whyte and of course he's a recognised name on the domestic scene.

I think you heard wrong. Allen has stopped training and put his career on hold to deal with a bout of depression.

30 losses! Lol, doesn't seem like Price's management have that much faith in him if they're pitting him against journeymen like this chap...

That was briefly, he's recently been training with Whyte.

The state of the guy he fought tonight. Did they find him pissed up in the car park 10 mins before the fight?

According to Allen's Twitter : "The fight is two weeks away, you can't really train for the last week so 6 or 7 days training and one or two spars isn't enough"
So that's 100% No. Would be a nice fight for the Joshua undercard.

Shocking opponent and Price has made zero progress since the Tony Thompson defeats.

Lacks movement, leans back in stance and simply another brutal KO waiting to happen.

He appears to be a nervous wreck, he can't go into the ring carrying those demons or else he will get knocked out again. He needs to let lightish hitters beat up on him in sparring to acclimatise to getting hit...

He's put two stone on....yeah, that's going to help his already sh*te stamina (if he last more than a few rounds) isn't it?
