Far more talented? Based on what exactly? Because Loma beat the very fast Gary Russel? FM would have never lost to a guy of Salido's level! FM handled a bigger, younger and more talented man in Canelo, with ease! Please give examples of how Loma is more talented!

As usual, anyone Floyd hasn't (or can't) fight beats him.

Stylistically, it's an intriguing match. Given Floyd's talent when he was 130 and size advantage, I believe he has the edge. Loma would have his moments though.

    116-112 Mayweather.

Loma has enough talent to trouble Floyd, but Floyd was just too special at 130.. only guy who might have been able to possibly beat him at that weight, is Alexis Arguello.. That's it.

When Floyd had the same amount of fights he would have been schooled...easily!

Corrales hit like a freight train, and would have been too big and too strong at 130.. I'd pick him to beat Freitas at that weight doe. Casamayor would have been tit for tat.

Did you mean every fighter that struggles vs Salido in his 2ND PRO FIGHT?

And isn't it the same Salido who destroyed prime Robert Guerrero, who later fought Floyd?

As for this thread. Both are fantastically gifted and hard working guys. But to answer this question we have yet to watch at least 5-6 Loma fights vs top opponents. Floyd also is taller/has longer reach of the two. I have no doubt though that it would've lasted for 12 rounds, neither Loma stops Floyd, nor Floyd stops Loma at 130. Both fighters too skilled defensively, and not particularly hard hitters.

Mayweather stopped nearly everyone he faced below 135

    No.
Reggie Sanders, Larry O'Shields, Gustavo Cuello, Tony Pep, Carlos Rios, Gregorio Vargas, Carlos Hernández are all far worse than Loma and Floyd failed to stop them at 130. He failed to stop 7 of 26 opponents at 130, neiter of them was A-level opponent.

Mayweather would win a UD, he would get pretty rough inside at lower weights where he wasn't outweighed by like 20 lbs like he was at welterweight and Jr.Middle. that caused Loma against Siri.

Last time I checked 19 out of 27 is a majority. Some of the guys he did stop are miles better then anyone Loma has faced. You don't seriously believe Loma would tko Diego coraless do you?

Floyd always avoided the best boxers. He never fought Casamayor, no way would he touch Lomachenko
