When you consider Paul smith got 2 world title shots plus a fight against a top 3 p4p guy largely off the back of 6 rounders and a win against tony Dodson I can see why price thinks he can get the AJ fight, if they can get decent PPV numbers for a total unknown like Breazeale they'd get good numbers for Price, although they run the risk of AJ's 'defences' being on a par with the WBO ones in the 90s

The tragic thing is - he has many of the tools and the physicality to be a top, top heavyweight. But that chin and lack of self-belief will cost him at the highest level, every time.

There is a difference, Price has been stopped 3 times and has done absolutely nothing to justify a world title shot.

Let's be honest here, Price has done far less than Audley Harrison did to get a shot at David Haye. Harrison was coming off the back of winning the European title in dramatic fashion against Sprott and it was a very explosive win.

Price just beat, well I say beat, the fat man he was "fighting" just waved the fight off himself, he quit.

British boxing fans have bought in to AJ and the journey and are buying the PPV's but I am sure Hearn and Sky are aware of the time of year, it will be taken in to consideration, it's the end of the year and regardless of the cost people will be thinking about Christmas and the New Year and might not want to part with £17 to see Joshua knock out an undeserving brttiel jawed challenger.

I don't think because people bought Breazeale means they will buy Price, Breazeale was unbeaten, yes he hadn't beat anybody of note but never the less he was unbeaten, was a big unit, had a solid KO ratio and there was the unknown factor about him and to be fair he proved far tougher than anybody thought he would be.

I have bought some seriously bad PPV events, events that I knew where not worth it, fights I didn't think we're PPV worthy but I can say without any doubt I don't care who is on the bill I will not buy Joshua Vs Price this year, not until Price has proved himself a worthy challenger, no way, not happening, I will not justify this ridiculous fight by giving them a sale.

Price v Chisora would make sense.

I like that fight, it's a good test for both at this stage, loser will have nowhere to go and the winner can move on.

I've said for a while Chisora facing Price makes sense for both men. I don't like to see fighters get world title shots without deserving them regardless of whether I'm a fan of them or not. A fight with Dereck would help get people who are getting sick of him mentioning AJ take him seriously.

Chisora is a name who fans and the casual viewers know through his Haye fight, therefore it would help PPV sales if/when he fights AJ. More money from sales might persuade Hearn to make this.

I also think this is a winnable fight for Price because Chisora is not the biggest puncher in the world and has looked poor v Pulev and long before that. He also gasses after a few rounds which is a plus for the big man as at least his opponent will be in the same boat if he does.

If it's Allen in November i'd push for Chisora afterwards then see what happens.

If Price threw a jab like a 6 foot 8/9, 19 stone man should I think Chisora would be an easy nights work for him.... But he doesn't.

    Martin is shot.

As in, literally someone shot him (he nearly went down as quick as Joshua according to rumours).

I think Chisora punches hard enough to take Price out.
    I don't think they'll go near Chisora.

Who's 'bett' and is she hot? Accuracy really isn't your middle name is it? And nice try mate at acting like you're not smarting over this. You've been exposed as a blagger. Btw, the only way you can prove I'm spending time at the keyboard that you wouldn't waste, is by not ever replying again to this thread. If you reply then you're just as bad (by your definition, not mine). If you don't reply, then you lose the last word. Lol. Game, set and match. :)
