Imagine Prime Chris Byrd fighting Joshua, Wilder, or Parker. I see him clowning all of them. Byrd schooled Vitali Klitschko, won most of the rounds in that fight. That Byrd was just amazing!

    Like the Povetkin fight?

Byrd sucked ****. His lack of power made him boring, not as entertaining as AJ, Wilder and Parker.

    Byrd was good. Not invincible.

You don't seem to understand the sweet science? Its about hit and not to get hit, thats what Byrd brings to the table. In Povetkin fight he was already old and past his prime. Watch his fights in late 90s and you see his quickness and sharpness.

Byrd would be top 10 no doubt in my mind but he'd struggle with the big men like he did during his prime.

Byrd was great against small heavies like Tua and Holyfield but he struggled with genuine super heavies. He needed an injury to beat Vitali who had an unassailable lead, Golota and McCline took him to the brink and Wlad dominated him.

Ibeabuchi is ATG. Would KO Wilder, Joshua and Parker in the same night. Not a shame to lose guy like him.

WTF, byrd would get besten worse than the time wlad beat the "prime" byrd from one ring post to the other every round. Byrd was decent at smw but was horrible at lhw, cw and hw.

Claiming he beat Vitali clearly tells us you either 1: never watched the fight or 2: you think byrd wins every round that Vitali doesnt dominate him, no ???

I felt the vit v byrd fight was closer than the scores, and with tesring his rotator cuff DURING the fight he wins pretty clearly. .

Serious question, how do you guys judge fights ? Round by round written down, score kept in your heads until the fight over.???

Byrd is not a fighter that COULD ever be somewhat competitive eith DW, psrker, AJ, haye, ortiz, wlad (obvious) even unknown fighters out there take byrd out.

Schooled Vitali and won most rounds?? What the hell you smoking? Byrd won 3 rounds at the absolute most in the Vitali fight.

Bryd kept hitting Vitali in the shoulder, and made the big man miss all through the fight. I don't consider the injury a fluke. Just a strategic way of winning. He was walking Vitali down just before the stoppage. He weren't a big puncher obviously, but he was very accurate, I remember him hurting Tua too the body, and David ended up badly winded. Their weren't many guys that could do that.

Byrd wasn't schooling Vitali at all.
But i can see him winning against Wilder, Fury who doesn't have the power and most of the heavies todays.
Joshua beats him, he is too compact on his punches and that kills Byrd.

Byrd had problems with bigger fighters. There's a size too big for him. Anybody who struggled against Golota cannot with any credibility claim to beat the best. He'd get knocked out eventually by Wilder and AJ. Got knocked out by Wladimir Klitschko in a hell of a beating.

In that case Vitali Klitschko would be a no-mark if he was around today. Getting schooled by Byrd:qmeparto:
He actually did though , its no joke.
