Agree 123 could have done with more amatuer experience. Looks like he ll be learning on the job just gonna need to keep him away from real challenges for a while. The way i look at it there could be worse prospects to watch.

 

If he works hard and is determined enough to really buckle down and improve he will of course be given every opportunity to do so,whatever level that may be. Eubank Jr like him or not has shown he is a decent level operator,he puts b**** on seats.Many follow into the trade past Ross Minter (Alan) a really determined fighter who found his level (domestic,no shame in that) but found it hard guys because the comparisons get harsher when you taste that first loss.Present example,Shane Mosley Jr 7-1 who to me doesn't look like his heart is really in it and he has been looked after.

Boxing business wise,following in your fathers or family footsteps will give you sway with promoters up to domestic level you can only be protected so long.Young fighters learning on the job need to actually do that,one round blowouts teach them nothing.In fact I would say it gives them a false sense of believing they are ko artists when far from it.Learn your craft.

I don't see Benn having much impact at 147lb tbh,why?This is the learning stage of his career and he is being fed fighters he can have his own way with but lacks power,size and more so needs to be taught to actually slow down and pick openings,he hasn't the power to force them open imo will need to drop down in weight.

Think tbf to eubank junior he has that single minded dedication his dad had...not too sure benns son has it tho. Thats what allowed eubank to make up for his late coming into serious boxing imo. And will probably be benns downfall.

 

Very average regardless of the amount of fights hes had you can tell he wont do much in the game and at WW and his height he will get battered by the first half decent fighter.. someone tell him he is not a banger

 

Still time bbjc quite right still only 20,but if you don't look to have decent pop you have to develop a style that will serve you the higher up the boxing levels you go.Sitting on the opponents chest,staying in the pocket and lacking head movement different ball game when he starts getting live opponents.

I think Conor handles himself very well for a young kid new to the sport.

He needs to get more serious in the kitchen though because all of us armchair critics know 147 is too big for him at this stage and it's also one of the deepest divisions as well.

I think he could make 135 tbh if he had CEJ's dedication in the kitchen he'd do it easy. I think he would probably be a lot more impressive there because his style is made for imposing himself on his opponent.

I wouldn't go changing too much in the gym I just think he needs to keep fighting. He is definitely a fighter I will keep following as his career progresses

 

I hope he does well as i do any boxer but he should be learning his trade without this hype and exposure imo.
