my favorite is when they made the brook fight they said "we would have accepted degale if he was offered".....but of course loeffler never asked hearn about him and he doesnt pursue a fight with him

 

these guys keep thinking and saying hopkins name....as if beating his mw record suddenly makes ggg a legend on the same level..."hey let me put gggs name next to hopkins....out of desperation"....what makes hopkins a legend and legendary is what he did after it...what he dared to do......if hopkins stopped after his mw reign his standing wouldnt be what it is today.....people would be tearing his mw "reign" to shreds....but they cant tear hopkins to shreds because of what he did after...and ggg aint built like hopkins...and never will be

I couldn't agree more jumping up in weight from 160-175 to take on Tarver is the very definition of daring to be great. Fighting Pavlik, Dawson, Calzaghe, Winky, Kovalev and Pascal all after 40 and after his title run at 160 makes him into a legend. GGG could learn alot from a ATG like Hopkins.

Golovkin is going to smash Hopkins' record like a tank driving through a wooden fence.
