Kovalev-Ward is not a 50/50 fight.

Nope more like 99/1 and that's if Kovalev throws a hail mary right that actually lands and can hurt Ward, but I don't see it. After Kovalev and Lomachenko get mopped up this November they can visit that ice bar in the Mandalay Bay and tell stories about how they were "ALMOST" famous.

call me crazy but I'm favoring (and betting , how much depends entirely on the line) Kovalev to beat ward in a one sided affair.

I think people will be shocked when it's proven that Kovalev has more skills and can enforce himself on ward almost too easily.

the more I think about this match up, the less competitive it gets. people that claim ward will "out box" Kovalev are in for a rude awakening . Kovalev will prove to be a truly great fighter, I have yet to put ward in that great range.

beating froch (should've been easier) and the shadow of what was once Kessler (very close fight) doesn't sit all that well with me.

idk what kind of fight you guys are expecting, I'm expecting the gap in talent to be very similar to when Kovalev completely stripped b hops making him look like a bum...

there's one main distinction that's going to be the main reason it's so one sided. ward will (100%) come to win, he may even score a balance kd, but he will be a man without a way in this match up.

Kovalev will fight him from the outside , and his Springs that he has for legs will let him jump in and out of striking distance all night. it'll be a matter of time before Kovalev clips ward.

that will spell the beginning of the end. ward cannot simply maul him against the ropes, Kovalev is a nasty fighter and will fight that **** off quickly. I'm going to say by the 4th round it'll start being too obvious that Kovalev simply brought too much to the ring.

6 to 9th round t/KO, and my money will for sho be where my mouth is. I feel ward is pulling a brook on the fans , losing to the lhw king is better in his mind than losing to the mw king. same as brook , better losing to the mw king than the WW king.
